금강저(金剛杵)

금강저(金剛杵)는 불교의 깊은 가르침과 불변의 마음을 형상화한 법구(法具)입니다. 

금강석처럼 변함없고 깨지지 않는 마음을 상징합니다.

금강(金剛)은 산스크리트어 바즈라(Vajra)의 한역으로 

본래 무엇이든 꿰뚫는 번개를 의미합니다.

금강저는 이러한 바즈라(Vajra)의 속성을 형상화한 도구입니다.

이는 번뇌를 깨뜨리고 진리를 밝히는 힘을 상징하며, 

불교에서의 파사현정(破邪顯正)을 뜻합니다.

수행의 여정에서 만나는 내외적 장애를 극복하고, 

궁극적으로 깨달음에 이르게 하는 상징적 도구로 여겨집니다.

수월(水月) 은 불교 수행의 근간부터 부처가 되어 

세상에 빛을 드러내는 과정을 금강저(金剛杵)에 담고자 했습니다. 

Vajra Series

The Vajra is a ritual implement that embodies the profound teachings of Buddhism 

and the concept of an indestructible mind.

It symbolizes a mind as unchanging and unbreakable as a diamond.

"Vajra," translated from Sanskrit, originally signifies lightning that pierces through anything.

The Vajra visualizes the attributes of the Vajra, representing the power to shatter delusions and illuminate truth, embodying Buddhism's principle of dispelling falsehood and manifesting righteousness.

Seen as a symbolic tool for overcoming both internal and external obstacles encountered on the path of practice, leading ultimately to enlightenment.

Soowol (水月) aims to encapsulate the entire journey from the foundation of Buddhist practice to achieving Buddhahood and revealing light to the world, within the Vajra.
